With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of WaStella Belle VanDame of Attica, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas C. Pattengale and Martha E. Pattengale (Mowdy); and her siblings, Paul, Richard, Earl, Dale, William, Sylvester, Dwayne Pattengale, Josephine Mortimore, Carmen Gertrude Lefton, Hazel Holycross, Luella Bell, Leeida Beedle and Beulah Biggs.

She is survived by: her daughter Alison Schmid (Gary); and her grandchildren, Adrienne Mix (Tyler) and Gavin Schmid.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Community Foundation c/o Harold & WaStella VanDame Scholarship Fund.
