It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Bennett of Attica, Indiana, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Bennett and Evaline Bennett (Hembree); his stepsons, Rodney and Bobby Wood; and his siblings, Maggie Smith, Vickie Greenway, Bobbie Cox, Virginia Owens, Benny Ray Bennett, Cecil Wayne Bennett, Kenny Michael Bennett and Vernon Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Wood (Karlson); his stepdaughter Tina Scott; his siblings, Silas Bennett, James Bennett of Evarts, KY, Bruce Bennett of Evarts, KY, Cindy Perkins of Harlan, KY and Brenda Betancort (Rex Fink); and his grandchildren, Ryan Wood, Justin Walters, Ashley Gustus, Anthony Wood, Heather Ziegler, Josh Groleau, Zachary Wood (Kyrston), Brandon Wood, Kayla Doolin, Chelsea Sarringar (Austin) and Tori Hall (Harold). He is also survived by twenty-six great-grandchildren.
