She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John O'Mara and LaDonna O'Mara; and her husband David Kaniewski.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Trinity Presbyterian Church (301 S Clinton St, West Lebanon, IN 47991). Judi also served as a Deacon at Trinity Presbyterian Church and participated in many other church activities, including the sewing project for orphans in Ghana and Haiti and the sidewalk craft and snack distributions for youth during Covid.
