She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Leroy and Elizabeth Hilt (Gellenbeck); her stepmother Helen Hilt; her brothers, Johnny Hilt and Gene Hilt; and her stepsiblings, Jack Kelsey and Denise Kelsey.

She is survived by: her husband Ernest Reed; her siblings, Launa Burnell (Bud), Pat Richards, Anita Bosworth (Joe), Caroline Ping (Bill) and Don (Brenda); and her stepsister Linda Coppock.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Putnam County Comprehensive Services, 630 Tennessee St., Greencastle, IN 46135.
