She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Donald Henderson and Phyllis Henderson (Swinford); her husband Dennis Garst; her children, Rebecca Honaker (Charles), Jason DeWitt (Katie), Michele Dishoungh (Steve) and Bret Garst (Kristine); her sister Sharon Smith; her siblings-in-law, Sharon Jones (Donnie), Larry DeWitt, Bryan DeWitt (Krista), Donna Henderson, Kieth Garst (Betty), Gerald Garst (Jan), Wuanitta Phifer (Wayne), Albert Whissler (Gene) and Margaret White (Glenn); her great grandchildren, Karson Garst, Jason Teboe and Ulani Swank; her former husband David DeWitt; her brother Mark Henderson; and her siblings-in-law, Dale DeWitt, Larry Smith and Charles Garst.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Susan's honor to the Smith-Henderson Fund through Tipton County Foundation.
