He is survived by: his spouse Kelly DeFoe (Huff); his children, Ashley Cannon, Leslie Cosand (Kyle), Kyle Spencer DeFoe and Bryan Defoe (Christina); his grandchildren, Olivia, Lauren, Caitlyn, Cameron and Jack; and his siblings, Robin Chastain, James DeFoe and Terry DeFoe. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
