He was predeceased by: his father Raymond D. Thomas; and his sister Cynthia Thomas. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Boyce of Avilla; his sons, Scott A. Thomas of LaOtto and Jason E. Thomas of LaOtto; his fiancée Karen Trenary of Ashley; his grandsons, Brandon Eldridge and Jaspur Thomas; and his siblings, Michael A. (Jeri Thomas), Stephen E. (Julie Thomas) and Rebecca J. (Larry Madden).
