We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2023, at the age of 93, Gene F. McGrew of Ashley, Indiana, born in Auburn, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McGrew and Ethel McGrew (Benjamin); his son-in-law Everett; and his brother-in-law Harold Straley, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Beverly McGrew of Ashley; his children, Richard McGrew (Stacy) of Avilla, Karen Everett of Ashley, Terry McGrew of Ashley, Cathy Wiedman (Tom) of Antwerp, Deb DeMuth (Forrest "Butch") of New Haven and Lynda Conrad (Joel) of Pleasant Lake; and his sisters, Janice Peters (Max) of Ashley and Joyce Straley of Hudson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren.

Preferred memorials are to Promedica Hospice or Independent Full Gospel Church.
