She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Koster and Harry Koster; and her brothers, Jacob, Clarence and Robert.
She is survived by: her husband Donald; and her children, Joyce Jacobs (Jake) and Thomas Israel (Doreen). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
