He was predeceased by: his father James Edward Smith; and his father-in-law Ralph E Jones. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Kay Smith (Chapple) of Tippecanoe, IN; his wife Sara A. Smith of Argos, IN; his brother Jay Smith (Angie) of Argos; his mother-in-law Caro Jones of Argos, IN; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Ringer (Jim) of Plymouth, IN and Randy Jones (Cammy); and his nieces and nephews, Mathew Smith (Laura) of Argos, IN, Justin Stults (Amberly), Karla Davis (Talwin) of Noblesville, IN, Brooke Burns (Scott) of South Bend, IN, Courtney Amos (Jake) of Claypool, IN and Kirsten Snyder (Brian). He is also survived by five great nephews and six great nieces.
