Doris J. Shoemaker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2023, at the age of 87, Doris J. Shoemaker of Argos, Indiana, born in Plymouth, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Les Lindsey and Venus Lindsey (Rhodes); and her sister-in-law Barbara Lindsey. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Shoemaker; her daughters, Pamela Birchmeier (Kevin) of Plymouth and Deborah Shultz (Mark) of South Bend; her grandchildren, Nicole Finner (Travis), Shane Barger (Amber) and Garrett Sharp (Nicole); and her siblings, Sandra Lindsey and Robert Lindsey. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions in Doris' name may be made to the Diabetes Association.
