With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Elaine Alderfer (Argos, Indiana), who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Franklin Fawley and Mary Alice Fawley (Phillips); and her sisters, Norma and Phyllis (George McCay). She is survived by: her husband Russell Lee Alderfer of Argos, Indiana; her daughters, Sonia Williams (David) of Bourbon, Indiana, Tina Zechiel (Dean) of Argos, Indiana and Dana King (Craig) of Kouts, Indiana; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Williams (Jaclyn) of Westfield, Indiana, Alexandra Zechiel of Culver, Indiana, Katelynn Miller (Zachary) of Logansport, Indiana, Kurtis Zechiel (Mallori) of Argos, Indiana, Madeline Hill (Jared) of Markleville, Indiana and Jackson King of Kouts, Indiana.; her great grandchildren, Olsen, Lilah, Ada, Caroline, Finleigh and McCoy; and her siblings, Janet Rowe of Argos, Indiana and Max Fawley (Lucy) of Warsaw, Indiana.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home (208 N Michigan St, Argos, IN 46501). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
