She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Andrew Roberts and Edna Marie Roberts Sexson (Sweezy); her former husband Melvin Hylton; her husband Clarence Middleton; her siblings, Charles Roberts, Jack Roberts, James Roberts, Wendell Roberts, Thomas Roberts, Ethel Harshman and Beverly Swafford; her daughter Joyce Hylton; her grandson Jeffrey Jackson; her stepgrandson Craig Herbert; and her son-in-law John Herbert.
She is survived by: her children, Melva Jackson (Mike), Darla Herbert, Vicki Mitchell (Donn) and Floyd Hylton; her siblings, Marcia Scott (Paul) of Greenfield, Andrea Macy (Eddie) of Fortville, Linda Hornaday of Rushville, Helen Brooks (Wayne) of Fort Wayne and David Roberts (Darlene) of Michigan; her grandchildren, Heather Huber (Marc), Hilaire Chittum, Jody Fortner (Joe), Julie Jackson, Lauren Walls, Ryan Herbert (Shelley), Melia Kelly (Ryan), Miranda Ford (Adams), Amanda Ford, Collin Adams, Victoria, Jessica and John Mitchell; her stepgrandsons, Ronnie, Johnny, Kevin Herbert and Derek Mitchell; and her sisters-in-law, Norma Roberts of Greenfield and Ruth Roberts of Arizona. She is also survived by 8 step- great grandchildren.
