It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A Whitmer of Angola, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hooper and Moness Hooper; and her siblings, John, Raymond, James, Donald, Virginia and Rosemary.

She is survived by: her husband Bill Whitmer; her sons, Joseph Whitmer (Monica) and Jeffrey Whitmer (Mindy); her grandchildren, Natalie, Grant, Cameron, Meredith, Chloe and Carson; and her sisters, Pat, Susan and Carolyn.

Memorial contributions to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
