We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2023, at the age of 79, Konita Forbes Dougherty of Angola, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Forbes and Velma Forbes of Angola, IN; and her husband Tom Dougherty of Fremont, IN.. She was also cherished by her 4 children, 7 grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law, 3 nieces, 4 nephews and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Indiana Alzheimer's Disease Research Center via the Indiana University Foundation, Inc. to help find a cure for the hideous disease that stole our brilliant mother's mind one memory at a time.
