He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Van and Erlie Van; his siblings, Fred Van, Walter "Bill" Van and LaVerne English; and his grandchildren, Beau, Luke and Melissa.
He is survived by: his wife Sue L. Van of Lake James; his daughter Roxanne; his son-in-law Dave Romine of Lake James; his sons, Chuck (Amy Van) and John (Serena Van); his grandchildren, Joshua Romine (Heather), Rachel Musick (Andrew), Austin Van, Jordan Van and Hannah Van; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Romine, Harper Romine and Harold "Harry" Van. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
