With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy J. Stearns of Angola, Indiana, born in Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on March 12, 2022 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy J. Stearns to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Mounce and Nellie M. Mounce (Hughes); and her siblings, Warren Mounce, Clara Odar and Viola Diggs.

She is survived by: her husband Charles B. "Chuck" Stearns of Angola; and her children, Charles E. Stearns (Mandi) of Hudson, Lawrence P. Stearns (Teri) of Eloy, Arizona and Tamera J. Wise (Edward) of Angola. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
