She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Searles and Mildred Searles (Buzzard); her husband Maurice L. Shenefield; and her siblings, Harold "Joe" Searles, Roger Searles, Carl Searles, Carlette Searles, Herb Searles, Glen Searles, Mary Louise Anderson and Barbara Searles.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Small of Claypool and Dennis Shenefield (Amanda) of Virginia; and her siblings, Gene Searles (Pat) of Warren, Ray Searles (Jane) of Bluffton and Mabel Burnsworth (Robert) of Huntington. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
