He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Miller and Martha Miller (Snow); his wife Ruth Rittenhouse; his son Richie Lee Miller; and his siblings, Opal Falk, Rosemary Quakenbush, Eileen Rittenhouse, Evelyn Futrell, Wilma Bitzel and Russell "Bud" Miller.

He is survived by: his children, Keith Miller (Kendra) of North Manchester, Kevin Miller of Andrews, Debbie Tester (Mark) of Fort Wayne and Doneta Lindsey of South Dakota; and his grandchildren, Brooke Blackman (Greg) of Fort Wayne, Corey Tester of Bradenton, FL, Karmen Chaney (Nick) of Plymouth, Kedric Miller (Anna) of Fort Wayne, Justin Miller (Amber) of Markle and Lindsay Miller (Tyler King) of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
