He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Scher and Elizabeth "Betty" Scher (Krumanaker). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anne Baker; his brothers, Alan Scher (Wilma) of Huntington, IN and Chris Scher (Mia) of Huntington, IN; and his nieces, Hannah Bailey (Nick) and Gracie Doctor (Jeremiah).
