She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald Dewey and Beatrice Hicks (Murray); her husband Hymon Janes; and her siblings, Sara Hancock, Bettie Harting, Beatrice Beeman, Emory Hicks and William Hicks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Graves of Anderson and Sandra Douglas of Anderson; her sister Rosemary Jones of Elwood; her grandchildren, Mark Buston of Anderson, Gregory Douglas (Terri) of Pendleton, Christopher Douglas of Middletown and Andrea Phillips (Shannon) of Anderson; her great grandchildren, Parker Douglas (Addie), Evan Douglas, Alexa Douglas, Tiffany Douglas, Justin Douglas (Olivia) and Brylee Naselroad; and her great great grandchild Carter Douglas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
