Young of Anderson, Indiana, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Harrison and Blanche Young (Ward); his stepdaughter Kindra Claxon; and his siblings, Irene, Richard, Betty and Harriet.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Young (Maxwell); his children, Kevin Young (Bonnie), Steve Young (Francie), Kathy Hugle, Rock Fuqua (Kathy) and Rick Fuqua; his son-in-law John Claxon; and his caregiver Judy Gulmire. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
