He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Hatter and Ada Hatter; his wife Hazel Hatter; his son Earl Hatter; and his siblings, Opal Wilson and Edward Hatter.
He is survived by: his significant other Ella Francene Roberts; his children, Marla Crocker (Joe), Tammy Crawford (Tracy), Gayla Gibbs (Rob), Chuck Roberts (Krista), Kay Horning, Jenny Sparks, Dallas Roberts and Vicki Bronnenberg (Alan); his grandchildren, JD, Claire, Jimmy, Shelly, Cassi, Buford, Sydney, Chance and Erica Crusmire; and his brothers, Phillip Hatter (Sharon), Clifford Hatter and Jerry Hatter (Pam). He is also survived by several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
