He is survived by: his wife Ruth Halliburton; his daughters, Teresa Miller and Kathleen Atkins; his grandchildren, Kinsley Elsten (Josh), Abbiel McDowell (Tyler) and Quinn Miller; his great grandchildren, Irelann and Walker McDowell; and his sister Margaret Fleming of Abingdon, VA..
The family asks that any memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
