She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Simmons and Mary Simmons (Humbles); and her husband Robert W. Richardson. She is survived by: her daughters, Claudia Abshire (Larry) and Connie Evans (Tom); her grandchildren, Jennifer Sargent, Andrew Evans (Cindy), Jason Abshire (Huda) and Jeffrey Abshire (Lyndsey); and her great grandchildren, Grayson Sargent, Emerson Sargent, Alex Evans, Jack Evans, Layla Abshire, Adam Abshire, Lina Abshire, Amir Abshire, Gage Abshire and Cole Abshire.

Memorial contributions may be given to Arthritis Foundation or the Christian Center.
