She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Earl Coverdale and Betty Clapper (Davis); her stepparents, Mil Coverdale and Lyle Clapper; her grandson Derrick Thomas; her sister Cathy Bowyer; and her stepsister Brenda Whetsel.
She is survived by: her husband Timothy "Tim" Thomas of Chesterfield; her sons, Scott Thomas (Yvonne) of Anderson, Shawn Thomas of Anderson and Chris Thomas of Anderson; her siblings, Sheila Rogers (Mike) of Chesterfield, Jane Coverdale of Anderson, Richard "Buzz" Anderson (Marcia) of Lapel, Linda Thompson (James) of Anderson and Mike Clapper (Dana) of Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Toni Knopp (Doug) of Hemet, CA, Leslie Thomas (Jack Parker) of Elwood and Pat Thomas of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
