He was predeceased by: his parents, Marilyn "Boots" Butler (O'Brien) and Jimmie Butler of Anderson. He is survived by: his son Joshua Clark Butler (Leigh) of Charlotte, NC; his granddaughter Brie Butler; his former wife Susan Butler; his daughter Kristen Ciara Butler of Hampton, VA.; his siblings, Stephen (Joy), Tom (Jane), Therese Williamson (Charles), Ann Girt (Charles), Christopher (Mary) and Patrick (Kelly); and also David Chase.
