With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sungcha Lee Owen (Anderson, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sungcha farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sungcha is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Loren; her sons, Robert Loren (Ferris) and Jeffrey Thomas (Heather); her grandchildren, Clara, Ellie Loren, John Mark, Simon Thomas and Penelope; and her siblings, Sung Peyong, Sung Chung and Sung Duk.
In lieu of flowers, her family gratefully asks that you consider donating in her name to her favorite ministry, Compassion International.
