She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman "Mac" McQuiston and Jean Francis McQuiston (Caplinger). She is survived by: her husband Ernest Layton, Jr. of Anderson; her children, Lorri Branch of Anderson and Danny Layton of Anderson; and her granddaughters, Kristen Branch of Anderson and Natalie Branch of Anderson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
