She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil C. Summers and Linda Summers (Schultz); and her brother James "Jim" Summers. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Cindy Summers (Randy Nuce) of Anderson; her nephews, Wesley Summers (Alyssa) of Anderson, Evan Broderick of Anderson and Ryan Broderick of Anderson; and her great-nieces, Sophie Tupy and Harper Broderick.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First Presbyterian Church or Madison County Humane Society.
