With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell E. Franklin of Anderson, Indiana, born in Upland, Indiana, who passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie Harper and Russell Franklin; his siblings-in-law, Ruby and Walter Carpenter; his sisters, Dorothy Boyd, Eileen Simpson and Barbara Stroud; and his son Russell E. Franklin, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Judith M. Franklin (Carpenter); his daughters, Candace Greenlee (Franklin) and Ruby (Franklin); his son-in-law John Swingley; his daughter Laurie (Franklin); his son-in-law Rick Brough; and his daughter Anna Addision (Franklin). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
