She was predeceased by: her husband Freeman Hummel. She is survived by: her sons, James Hummel (Randy) and Randy Hummel (Barbara); her grandchildren, Joseph R. Hummel and Dr. Jennifer Hummel Carlos; her great grandchildren, Jonathan and Nathaniel Carlos; her sister Lillian Sherrill of Livingston, TN; her stepdaughter Stephanie Dumas of Newark, OH.; and her friends, Charlotte Wise, Gary Webb and Paul Rusher.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice, East 38th Street Baptist Church, or charity of donor's choice.
