He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Avery and Hazel Avery (Harrison); his wife Betty Craig (Stewart); and his brothers, Ralph Davis and Delbert Davis.
He is survived by: his son Scott Craig (Mary Beth); his grandchildren, Scott Craig, Jr. (Brittney) and Samantha Dunaway (Bray); his stepdaughter Cindy Sharp (Mark); his great grandchildren, Emilyn, Colson, Corbin, Rowan and Sloane; his daughter Cindy Simmons (Brent Barger); his brother Jack Craig (Lucy); and his close friends, Joe Myers, Paul Turner and Roger Rinker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
