He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Turner and Florence Scott (Deep); and his siblings, Donald Turner, Larry Turner, Carolyn Willis, Gloria Garrett and Nancy Shelton.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Turner of Anderson; his sons, Brent Turner of Greenfield and Dale Turner (Suzanne) of Kouts, Indiana; his sister Linda "Sue" Dilk of Daleville; his grandchildren, Brent Turner Jr. (Brooklyn), Bailie Turner, Braxton Turner, Bo Turner, Emily Darr, Jackson Turner, Joshua Darr, Gabriel Turner and Joseph Turner; and his great grandchildren, Bentlee, Zayne and Ava Turner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
