It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gene Burtron of Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Junior and Barbara Burtron (Stafford); his brothers, Dennis Burtron and Mark Burtron; his grandparents, Claude, Gladys Burtron, Flavia Butcher and Bernard "Red" Stafford; his parents-in-law, Hugh and Betty Mingle of Pendleton; his siblings-in-law, Deb Hagen of Pendleton, Judy Geoffrey of Pendleton and Doug Mingle of Michigan City; and his pets, Rusty Jo Burtron and Taco Jo Burtron.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Lu Burtron (Mingle); his children, Joshua A. Burtron (Fawn Wilson) of Forbes, Minnesota and Gina Louise Fendley (Jeremy) of Sheridan; his stepdaughters, Kirbie Lynn Lindzy of Anderson and Courtney Nicole Clark of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, Carlie N. Mays, Piper Eagle, Kyra Eagle, Quinton Lindzy, Liam Land, Griffin Baker, Aubrey Baker and Ava Ecelbarger; his great grandchildren, Caidyn Fendley and Tylar Pollom; his brother Jerry Burtron of Cicero; his siblings-in-law, Jennifer Mabrey of Pendleton, Carla Burtron of Noblesville and Phil Hagen of Daleville; and his pet Bambi Lou Burtron.
