He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Winters and Edna Winters (Mossburg); and his wife Carolyn S. Southgate. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Young (Roger), Alexandria, Vaughn Winters (Andrea) and Melody Pearson (Mike); his grandsons, Richard "David" Pernell (Melissa) and Anderson; his children, Elrie Ferguson (Rose Pearman), Anderson, Jennifer Ferguson-Jeffries, Marion, William, Steven Coleman (Adrienne Waterman), Kathy Hill (Josh) and Michael Winters; his brother Jim Winters (Ruth); and his sister-in-law Patty Southgate. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
