He was predeceased by: his parents, James Maish and Winifred Maish (Nolte); and his friend Lance Grahlfs. He is survived by: his children, Carol Niksch (Bryan) of Lowell, Karen Johnson (Dan) of Galesburg and Jeff Maish-Ramirez (Steve) of Albuquerque; his significant other Diana Stephens of Anderson; his brother Ronald Maish of Corunna, Indiana; his grandchildren, Hunter and Peyton Niksch; and also, Carol Mulcahy (Brian), Jordan Carter (Kyle), Eli Mulcahy, Connie Ferret (Frank) and Robyn Boetzel (Todd).

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Madison County Shrine Club.
