He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Ewing (Knotts); his stepfather Elmer Ewing; his father Harold Douglas; and his siblings, Pam Ewing, Glen and Stephen Douglas.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becki" Douglas (Newell) of Anderson; his children, Cassie Lee (Larry) of Noblesville and Kyle Douglas (Cortney) of Anderson; his grandchildren, David Kirkpatrick (Baileigh) of Noblesville, Hailey Kirkpatrick of Noblesville, Keldan Douglas of Anderson and Kendree Douglas of Anderson; his siblings, Rita Maple of Alexandria, Denise Provence (Rick) of Cicero, Sherri Street (Jeff) of Lapel, Cliff Douglas of Muncie, David Douglas (Teresa) of Muncie and Rick Douglas of Frankton; and his siblings-in-law, Samme Rousopoulos (Deno) of Westfield and Eric Newell (Bonnie) of Trenton, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service (229 S Rangeline Rd, Anderson, IN 46012). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the East Side Church of God (2600 E 5th St, Anderson, IN 46012).
Memorial contributions may be given to The Newell Lectureship at the School of Theology, Anderson University, 1100 East 5th Street, Anderson, IN 46012.
