He was predeceased by: his parents, John Evans and Maella Evans (Bourshon); his wife Jeanie (Waymire); and his siblings, Clara Grigson, Ethel Kegley, Jessie Trout, Vernice Ackley, Ruth Redden, Carl Evans, James Evans and Philip Evans.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Lois Hart, Brenda Colbert, Mary Curts, Evelyn Wamsley, Ardith Stevens, Linda Myers, Darrell Trout, Lowell Evans and Marlin Evans. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews, and many great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Charity of the Donor's Choice and/or Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Anderson.
