He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schmitt and Lillian Schmitt (Tidler). He is survived by: his close friend Angela Schmitt (Brewster); his sons, Paul F. Schmitt III, Joshua S. Schmitt and Peter G. Schmitt; his grandchildren, Keisha, Lillian, Maya Schmitt, Lydia, Peter II and Hudson Schmitt; his sister Kay; and his brother-in-law Lou Ozon.
