With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patsy Jo Whalon of Anderson, Indiana, born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 31, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Austin and Judith Austin (Davis); her husband Rodney Charles Whalon; her brothers, Bill and Garland Austin; and her grandson Kyle Henkle.
She is survived by: her children, Michael R. Whalon (Denise) of Lee Summit, Rhonda J. Henkle (Tim) of Carmel, Charlene R. Sparks (Christopher) of Fort Myers, Florida, Karen R. Throesch (Ronald) of Holland and Robert W. Whalon (Patricia) of Anderson; her grandchildren, Todd, Trent, Katie, Joseph Whalon, Ryan, Amberly, Jennifer, Aaron Henkle, Josh, Jama, Jon Barr, Stacy, Forrest, Andrew, Benjamin Throesch, Audra Fayth and Adam Whalon; and her cousin Dan W. Austin (Thyra). She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Park Place Church of God Food Pantry or the Alzheimer Association.
