She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Cotton and Louise Cabe (Kennedy); and her husband Loyce R. Gaither. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Bailey (Terry), Kirk E. Gaither Sr. (Lori), Ronald K. Gaither and Katherine L. Jacoby (Brian); her grandchildren, Zachariah Harvey (Tiffany), Jacob Bailey, Ashley Gaither (Casey Brumfield), Kirk Gaither Jr. (Samantha Paige) and Nathan Woodworth; her great grandchildren, Addison Harvey, Carter Harvey, Gunner Brumfield, Fayte Bridwell, Jaiden Paige, Julian Paige, Johdi Paige, Journi Paige and Layla Grace; and her sister Karen Cotton Abernathy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
