She was predeceased by: her father Grover Barnett; her husband Harold Messenger; her daughter Jill Renee Heckard; and her siblings, Donna Mae Powers (Walter), Leatha Jean Price (Frank), Boone Daniel Barnett and Orville Barnett.
She is survived by: her children, Lyle Messenger (Jane), Peggy Diana Wies (Kerry) and Julie Lynn Leviner (Joel); her son-in-law Tim Heckard; her grandchildren, Sarah Neggers (Chris), Alexandra Golighty (Andrew), Pierce Hathaway (Winston) and Ted; and her great grandchildren, Diana, Emerson and Fielding. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Ora's honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
