It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Olive Jean Thompson of Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John D. Thompson; her parents, James W. Hall and Chloe Hall (Haney); her daughters, Shirley G. Westerlund and Lois K. Gallimore; and her siblings, Floyd Hall (Jesse), Daisy Crabtree (Henry), Vernie Hall, Zola Hall, Cary Harmon (Wallace), Earl Hall (Elizabeth), Woodrow Hall (Rose), Arthur Hall (Callie), Mary Coleman (Charles), Bennie Hall and Lillian Elliott (Leroy).

She is survived by: her sons, Larry W. Thompson and Michael D. Thompson (Sandra); her grandchildren, Judith Lee, John Griggs, Lora Schulten, Larry Thompson, Brian Thompson, Mark Thompson, Anne Thompson Scarlett, Carl Thompson, Jeannie Stuve, Rick Gallimore, Rebecca Owens and Travis Thompson; and her close friend Mary Howerton. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Maple Grove Church of God.
