She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Beard; her parents, Roy Cassity and Josie Cassity; and her siblings, Towanna Plunkett and Ralph Cassity.

She is survived by: her sons, Steven Beard (Linda), Kerry L. Beard and Kent G. Beard. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
