He was predeceased by: his parents, Von West and Mae West (Underwood); his former wife Kathleen Elizabeth West (Katie); his wife Carolyn West; his brothers, Wallace and Victor West; and his stepdaughter Marsha Jarvis.
He is survived by: his children, David West (Nora), Susan West Bivens (Robert), Rick West (Jan), Terry West (Joann) and James Michael West; his stepdaughters, Marlene Smith and Margie Cline; and his grandchildren, Denise DeHart, Brian West, Matthew West, Bethany Doss, Michael West, Kathleen West, Sarah Heuler, Travis West and Kelson West. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
