She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Whitinger and Ocie Gail Evelith Whitinger; her son Gary Murdock; her stepson Doug Gillespie; and her siblings, Adrine Hiday Ross and Earl Whitinger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Murdock Hodson (Jerry) and Lori Murdock Broadwater (Vince Grimmett); her stepdaughter Pam Gillespie Simpson (Rick); her grandchildren, Johnna Broadwater, Loren Broadwater (Kelli), Stephanie Murdock, Adriann Murdock Hoffner and Rhiannon Murdock Freeman; her great grandchildren, Milah Broadwater (Zac Brooks), Harmony Key, Jozlin Broadwater, Avalee Parker, Kara Jo and Jackson Broadwater; her great great grandchildren, Case Maddox and Ryker Brooks; and her son-in-law John Broadwater. She is also survived by several step grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
