Nancy Howard Upchurch Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Howard Upchurch of Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Howard and Christina Howard (Caskey); her husband Andrew "Pierce" Upchurch Jr.; her brother Norman Howard; and her son-in-law David York.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy York of Bloomington; her stepdaughter Nancy Novoa of Florida; her grandson David York (Sheri); her stepgrandchildren, Elio R. Nova and Nancylee Crespo; her great grandchildren, Paige and Pierce York; and her close friends, Bill and Mary Brown of Anderson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson First United Methodist Church (1215 Jackson St, Anderson, IN 46016). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Anderson First United Methodist Church Library.
