She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Gabel (Hank) and Betty Gabel; her husband Stephen Hedgecraft; her sisters, Mary Lou Claus and Betty Jo Kolenda; and her sisters-in-law, Susan Collins and Linda Kimbrell.

She is survived by: her son Richard Lewis (Shilpa); her grandson Omni Lewis; her stepdaughter April Hedgecraft (Mark Gregory); and her stepgrandchildren, Khloe Miller and Kaden Miller.
