“Auntie Butch devoted a ton of years of her life to a successful daycare and it is hard to tell the number of lives she impacted. She also spent a number of years driving a semi truck seeing the country as a second career. She was a wonderful lady and I remember a lot of fun days my sister and I spent with her when we were growing up. She will be missed and my family and I are praying for all who are mourning.”

“Muriel was a classy lady who loved to dress up and go out for dinner. She was a gentle soul living in a tough world. She loved to nurse people who were ailing. After Norman passed away, she opened a daycare that was a thriving business for several years. She loved Nova Scotia, her trips home to visit, exploring the beaches and villages she remembered from childhood. She believed the words of our mother who would often say.....someday there will be no more sighing, no more crying, no more dying.”
